| The course begins with a short introduction to the historical and sociological background to Caribbean literature. The rest of the course is devoted to the discussion of selected poems, short stories and novels, most of them written by contemporary writers around the theme "Jewishness and the Holocaust in Caribbean literature" | ||

| Introduction to anglophone Caribbean Literature and trauma studies with a discussion of representative literary works. | ||
