| This is the last year of a 6-year programme. The final objective is a fluent written and oral practice of Dutch.
The sixth part focuses on the perfect knowledge of Dutch grammar and vocabulary. This will be practised through debates. |

Prerequisite knowledge and skills :

| The student should have attended the first five years of the program or have a very good level in Dutch to be able to follow this class. | ||||||||

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| Groups of two students will be established at the beginning of the year. They will choose an article (2-3 pages without images) from the Dutch press dated at least July 2014. They will prepare a list of vocabulary (1-2 pages) that they will distribute one week before the presentation of their text to the other students. Each week (1 hour), a group will be responsible for leading a discussion on the article they have chosen. The other students have to prepare the article and to participate actively in the debate. In total, fifteen texts will be presented. | ||||||||

| The choice of articles, the respect of the deadlines, the animation of their own debates and the active participation in the other students' s debates will be marked (50% of the final note). Written examination in January. The written exam (50% of the final note) will include a written exercise on one or more articles submitted during the year. | ||||||||
