| Computation of projected coordinates (and inverse operations) and calculation of alterations in various types of projections.
Using libraries of geometric transformations in the development of various projections. Using the parameters and metadata of projections in GIS and spatial DBMS (geo-referencing). |

Assessment methods and criteria :

| Exercises: exercises carried out during the year are evaluated (50%). In case of failure, a written practical complementary examination is mandatory.
Theory: oral examination (50%) Success is conditionned by the success in both parts (theory and practical). In case of failure, partial exemption (theory or practical) coud be given. |
