The theoretical course is made of 5 chapters:

Learning outcomes of the learning unit :

| Provide to the future geographers theoretical and practical knowledges about territorial development.
Those knowledges have three main purposes: - to allow students to reframe issues and political debates in the field of territorial development; - to prepare students to intervene in the fields of territorial developments and spatial planning (local developments interventions, urban planning interventions, management of European projects...). |

| 15 hours of theoretical lectures. Practical exercises are organized in the context of the learning unit "Territorial Policies Seminar and Territorial Projects". This is made of a personal exercise on a UE country. It is made of both, a research on regional disparities and a research on development policies. | |||||
