Theoretical course
The notions approached at the time of this course complete those which have been developed at the previous partim (BSM 3). It consists in seminars focusing on specific aspects dealing with the managment of sport and recreational activities (subsidies of the Federation Wallonie - Brussels fundamentals of accountancy, employment in the sport domain,...).
Practical course
They are based on students analysis of one sport organization, preparation of one report and one presentation of the main outcomes.

Theoretical course
  • To acquire a systematic approach in analysing sport organisations.
  • To develop competences in communication.
  • To improve knowledge on practical sport management.
  • To be able to imagine a technical project aiming to create/manage a sport organisation
Practical course
  • To reach the objectives of the theoretical course.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :

Concepts approached during part I are necessary. Experiences of the practical activities (professionnal applications) are also useful.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

Practical work comprises various aspects: survey with persons chairing of sport organizations and exploitation of the collected data.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

Theoretical course All information is provided during the first lesson.
Practical course Guidelines to do the analysis, synthesis and presentation are provided during the first session. The report is expected in December. The definitive mark is provided on the same time that the one on the third part of this course.

A pdf version of the slides and documents proposed during the theoretical lessons is posted on the Website myULg. In addition, the students will have to seek other information, according to recommendations' of the course's leader.

The assessment of this course is based on the report prepared by the students during the whole year. Details of assessment are provided during the first session.
