| The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with basic economic mechanisms by analyzing general behaviour (macroeconomics).
The course covers the main topics in the area of the macroeconomic theory: consumption and investment, national income and cycles, budgetary policy, international trade, monetary policy and so on. |

Learning outcomes of the learning unit :

| At the end of the course, the student will be able, in line with the Key Learning Outcomes:
- to master basic notions of economics (strategy). - to explain and to analyse general economic behaviour, at the national and international economy level (strategy); - to understand and to explain, in a critical perspective, the relations between the main economic variables (strategy and control). - to think critically, to be curious and to apply scientific rigour (strategy and adaptability). |
