| This course is an introduction to the electrical and magnetic properties of solid materials. The relationships between the macroscopic properties and the atomic structure are described without resorting to complex mathematical developments. Examples are chosen in metals, ceramics, glasses and polymers. | ||||||||

| The objective of the course is to provide the students with the basic knowledge necessary to get access to more advanced textbooks or literature related to material properties. | ||||||||
