| Written report (about 30 pages, describing the context, the company, the problem to be solved, the methodology, the tasks that were carried out and the results) and an oral defense (with an oral presentation and a questions & answers session).
The final grade takes into account the amount and quality of the work, the quality of the written report and the oral presentation, the relevance of the answers during the defense, as well as the opinion of the industrial sponsor. |

| Professors (or permanent scientists) propose intership subjects that they would be willing to sponsor academically. These subjects emanate from companies or research centers. Students propose subjects on their own, but these subjects must be approved by an academic sponsor. A list of subjects is available on the website http://www.montefiore.ulg.ac.be/stages.
Students' University registration must be complete by the time they start the internship. The internship is organized under the responsability of a four member internship committee: the academic sponsor, the industrial sponsor and two ULg professors or scientists. The committee is proposed by the academic sponsor to the internship coordinator (the president of the Study Council). Administrative steps:
