Medical imaging
The teaching will include radiology of small animal, production animal and equidae.
Students will work in groups on radiographs. The work will be based on radioanatomy (to locate normal anatomical structures), recognization of the radiographic views and criticism of the radiographic technique.
Students will analyse clinical cases in groups and will participate interactively in the cases correction.
Infectiology and veterinay parasitology
The students participate interactively in (1) clinical case presentations, (2) practical work on the modalities of sampling and diagnostic tools, and (3) seminars on specific topics prepared by the different services

The main objective of the teaching activity is to stimulate the students to image analysis through interaction with the teachers.
Specific objectives are:
  • be able to identify normal anatomical structures
  • be able to recognize and name the radiographic views
  • be able to criticize the radiographic technique
  • give a solid base of radiographic image analysis before applying knowledge to clinical cases film readings.
Infectiology and veterinay parasitology
Training focuses on case studies and seminars on specific topics. The aim is to teach students to adopt a transversal approach in the diagnosis, prevention and control of infectious and parasitic animal

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

Autonomous work in groups with interactive correction between 8.30 and 12 A.M
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :
Infectiology and veterinay parasitology
Organisation :  2 consecutive weeks with 2 modules every morning. The full program is presented to students during the introductory session on Monday of the first week. The case studies, practical work and seminars are taught by different services : immunology, vaccinology, epidemiology, virology, bacteriology, parasitology, mycology and pathology of wildlife. Students are invited to prepare a presentation. This work is presented on Friday of the second week.

Participation and reflection will be evaluated throughout the week.

Any absence must be retake.
Infectiology and veterinay parasitology
Students are evaluated on their participation in paraclinical activities and during the examination of Friday of the second week.  This examination consists of (1) a written part (individual): responding to a question about one of the seminars (or TP) presented during the two weeks and (2) an oral part (in pairs): present and defend a work whose subject has been chosen by the students during the introductory session
