| This course is dedicated to the study of the concepts of "civil society" and "globalisation" by theoretical and empirical approaches while trying, on the one hand, to bring out a properly sociological glance and, on the other hand, to promote a reflexion on the current place of these concepts in the field of development studies. | ||||||||||||||

| To approach scientifically the concepts of globalisation and civil society. To apprehend the social and cultural effects of the so-called globalisation process. To understand the place taken by the concept of civil society in development policies and daily activities. | ||||||||||||||
