Learning outcomes of the course :

After the completion of the course, the students should be able to:

master the basic concepts of communication and their incidence in the processes of communication in public health
identify issues of communication in various public health contexts
demonstrate understanding of ethical values central to publc health communication
apply methods and tools appropriate to different contexts and audiences
plan a public health communication initiative
evaluate communication strategies and programs in public health

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

class teaching with power point support
3 group works (compulsary): 4 students groups (preferably to modify for each work); these works will be initiated during the courses and supervised during their realisation by email exchange.; one work will concern the design of a communication approach in a specific context of public health (communication plan)
