Course contents :
The courses deals with the management of agricultural watersheds in terms of hydrology and soil conservation. Different agricultural practices impacting hydrology and sediment yield will be described as well as small hydraulic infrastructures. Their impact on watershed behaviour will be assessed.
The course contains - the basics of erosion - the water and soil conservation technics - the flow management technics in small watersheds
Learning outcomes of the course :
After completing the course the student is expected to - To assess the agricultural soils losses of a given field in a watershed - to quantify efficiency of a soil conservation practice
