Course contents :
The course aims at clarifying the interactions between behavioral ecology and conservation biology. It will include the discussion of the main elements affecting the elaboration of conservation projects: general ecology, socio-reproductive systems, migration type of the sexes, home range exploitation. A particular interest will be given on behavior quantification methods (with pratical exercices). A personnal work will be asked focussing on behavioral aspects of conservation of a chosen species or group of species.
