| The course considers the principal mental disturbances occuring during old age : depressive and anxious disorders, sleep disorders, etc. Their semiological characteristics and their prevalence are higlighted. The technics of evaluation are specified. The current methods of treatment and the prospects for clinical research are approached. The specificity and the difficulties of the clinical step with old people are highlighted.In addition, we will also discuss the clinical approach of caregivers of Alzheimer patients (formal and informal caregivers). | ||||||||||||||
