| Basic Definitions :
State variables, temperature, Principle zero, transformations, properties of substances.
Heat and heat transfer, First law of thermodynamics, application to open and closed systems, heat budgets. Second law of thermodynamics: statements, application to cyclic transformations, efficiency, Carnot engine, Entropy, entropy budget. |
