| Introduction to radiology, nuclear medicine and tomography reconstruction techniques used by these medical imaging modalities and a practical teaching on digital images. | |||||||||||||||||

Learning outcomes of the course :

| At the end of the course the student will be able
to describe and explain the physics of conventionnal radiology (analogic or digital images), to describe and explain the physics of CT-scan, to describe and explain the physics of in-vivo diagnostic nuclear medicine (scintigraphy and positron emission tomography), to describe and explain the mathematics of the problem of tomography reconstruction and some of the methods to solve this problem, to use a software of medical image processing. |
