Course contents :

The end of study work is the personal work of a student who treats a research question in relation to the subjects taught in the Master. It allows the student to demonstrate his/her ability to solve a theoretical or practical problem in a scientific, discussed and coherent approach (working hypothesis, literature assessment, personal investigations). The student has also to show that it is able to synthesize the gathered information in a clear and concise manner.

Learning outcomes of the course :

General objectives:

To solve a theoretical or practical problem, based on the concepts and methods taught in the Master in Health Public Sciences
to follow a discussed and coherent scientific approach to answer the research question

Specific objectives :

to define a problem
to discover and gather documentation
to establish direct contacts
to synthesize the collected information
to formulate a research question with precision and clarity
to develop tools and implement an empirical verification process
to rank-order materials
to discern relevant information from all the collected material
to analyze the information and to practice one's critical mind
to express in writing and to communicate

The whole of the curriculum followed by the student.

Autonomous work done by the student.
