| Organised in collaboration with Christophe Pirenne, this course is in the format of a series of conferences followed by discussion and debate involving stakeholders and analysts from the political world and cultural institutions, both in Belgium and abroad. Lectures will be scheduled and a programme will be established at the start of the academic year. | ||

Learning outcomes of the course :

| The objective of the course is to raise students' awareness of the interactions between politicians and cultural institutions; to shed light on the general themes and practical methods which govern production and cultural management in large institutions (operas, orchestras, theatres, festivals, publishing houses, cultural centres, etc.); to put students in touch with major players in these institutions. | ||

The mark of the midterm exam in January will count for 30% of the June final grade if > or = 10/20 (the mark will have no effect on the final grade if it doesn't reach 10/20). Please note that the final exam for this course is cumulative. |
