Matrix algebra  
Differential calculus of functions of two and three variables Double integrals Differential equations (first and second order)
Numerical calculation methods to approximate the integration of first order equations and practical exercises using Matlab
Learning outcomes of the course :
To complete the basics in mathematics (course MATH0068-1) with some more specialized areas used in other graduate courses.
After completing the course the student is expected to : - understand eigenvalues notion
- understand the differential and integral calculus of functions of two and three variables - solve differential equations (first and second order) using analytical and numerical methods using MatLab

- MATH0494-1 - General mathematics : algebra and geometry
- MATH0493-1 - General mathematics : analysis 1 differential calculus
 - MATH0494-1 - General mathematics : analysis 2 integral calculus
- basic knowledge in algorithmics
