| "Myths of Authorship in the Work of Janet Frame"
After a brief introduction to the life and work of Janet Frame, a variety of texts (fictional and non-fictional) will be considered, with a view to outlining the author's conception of authorship as well as its philosophical and political implications. The following prose works will be addressed amongst others: The Adaptable Man (1965) Living in the Maniototo (1979) The Envoy from Mirror City (1985). |
