Course contents :
The course is made up of 3 different part: 1/ Hybrid course 2/ Weekly speaking activities 3/ Master's Thesis Interview (incl. online exam)
Learning outcomes of the course :
At the end of the course, the student will reach the Level B2 of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages within its field of specialty.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
The student has to have a B1+ level (cf. CEFR) before starting the course.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
One hybrid course 1: GERE0033 or GERE0034 Weekly speaking: 1h/week Master's Thesis Interview (incl. online exam) +Online modules include theory and exercises +Coaching session by student assistants (in case of budgetary availability) aiming at preparing students for oral presentations and an efficient powerpoint.

Hybrid course*: 10% Oral interaction: 45% Master's Thesis: 45% (incl. 5% online exam)   *A student who is absent for one hybrid course will automatically be considered ABSENT in June and/or Septembr for his or her English course.

A student who leaves for one term/semester/year has to contact the Engilsh teachers before leaving. A precise description of the course organization and contents as well as the evaluation criteria (Introductory Document + English Portfolio) has been made available for the students on eCampus.
