Learning outcomes of the course :

| Being able to use Dutch as an everyday language as well as the basic structures of the Dutch language. This course aims at developing the four language skills: listening and reading comprehension, and to a lesser degree oral and written expression. The mastery of level A2 of the CEFRL is a condition to reach level B2, which is the objective in the KLO's. At the end of this course, the student will be able to communicate about familiar subjects. He will be able to describe his family, his way of life, his work. He will also be able to understand oral and written messages which remain quite simple. He will also be able to write messages with a basic vocabulary. | ||||||||

Prerequisite knowledge and skills :

| This course is aimed at the students who had 4 to 6 hours of Dutch class a week during their secondary school education and who reached at least the level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference. | ||||||||

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| The students are invited to participate during the lessons (questions and answers, roleplays, discussions...). They also have to prepare the lessons at home (reading texts, grammatical rules and preparing all kinds of exercises) | ||||||||
