Course contents :
The structure of the course corresponds to the study of:

  • The physiological bases of massage manoeuvres and their actions on different tissues.
  • The basic massage conditions (modalities, inspection of tissues treated)
  • Massage manoeuvres in developing technical aspects, specific guidelines and contra-indications.
  • Loco-regional applications

Learning general and specific massage techniques.

Previously: introduction to human anatomy

Student participation in practical work sessions is obligatory. Any absence must be explained. A student who is not present at a minimum number of practical work sessions (a minimum of 75% of sessions) may be refused access to the practical exam.
Material: a towel and massage cream
Equipment: sports clothing and a swimming costume are indispensable.

Assessment methods and criteria :
- Theoretical evaluation (written exam in mai-june).
- Practical evaluation (practical exam in mai-june).
