Course contents :
The hours of theory will be devoted to a discussion about articles concerning the history of international relations. The second part will ask students to 1. take a passive part in scientific caucuses linked with the subject; 2. take an active part in scientific discussions with researchers both at doctorate and post-doctorate levels; 3. write critical recensions ; 4. participate in an educational travel linked with the subject of the course...
Learning outcomes of the course :
To train last year students for further activities in historical research.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
Seminar can be chosen by students having already followed the options "History of regional, national and international areas (modern times and contemporary era)" or "Archival Science".
To have followed the course on Belgian diplomatical history (HIST0078-1) or any other course relating to foreign affairs will be an asset.
