General presentation of the archaeological research in Syria.

Introduction to the Syrian archaelogy in the frame of the archaeology of the Near East.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
To have attended the general lecture during the 1st year of study entitled "History of art and archaeology : ancient Near East".
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
Regular attendance in class. Reading books specified in the bibliography. Presentation by students on topics proposed.
