- Analysis of Point Patterns
Tesselation, Quadrats, Neighbourhood, Gravity & Potential Models
- Analysis of Spatial Networks
Graph Theory, Shortest Paths, Traffic Generation, Node Interactions
- Analysis of Area Data
Spatial Autocorrelation, PCA, Clustering, Regionalization
- Analysis of Spatially Continuous Data
Interpolation: Delaunay, TIN, 2D Moving Average, Trend Surfaces, Kriging, Cost Surfaces
Surface Analysis: Scalar & Vector measurements, Surface Correlation

Spatial Analysis, including relationship with spatial databses and geographical information systems (GIS)

- Statistics
- Cartography
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
Exercises realized on computer with dedicated softwares, i.e. R, Statistica, Idrisi, Surfer, ArcGIS

Assessment methods and criteria :
Practical: exercises carried out during the year are evaluated. In case of failure, a written practical examination is mandatory.

Theory: oral examination

Success is conditionned by the success in both exams (theory and practical). In case of failure, partial exemption (theory or practical) coud be given.
