Course contents :

| That course comprizes 10 lectures of 90 minutes proposed during the second semester. They are focused on the definition of the fundamental concepts, the sport and physical activity history; the role of physical activity ; the categories of activities; the motives of practice ; the organisation of pratice, the promotion of physical actvity, the motor learning. | |||||

Learning outcomes of the course :

| It aims to situate physical activity within the society; to underline its effects; to describe the current lifestyle of the citizen; to present the key notions about motor learning; to illustrate the role of the physiotherapist in the physical and sports domain. | |||||

Prerequisite knowledge and skills :

| Students do not need special prerequisites for the theoretical parts of the course. | |||||

| The theoritical course is provided in a direct teaching style with maximum oppotunities for interaction with the students. | |||||

| A written examination is organized in June to assess the knowledge of the students. It focused on four open ended questions needing reflexion and analysis of the taught contents. | |||||
