Course contents :
The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with basic economic mechanisms by analyzing general behaviour (macroeconomics).
The course covers the main topics in the area of the macroeconomic theory: national accounting, consumption and investment, national income and cycles, budgetary policy, international trade, money supply and demand, aggregate demand and supply, economic growth, unemployment and inflation, balance of payments, economics of exchange rates.
Learning outcomes of the course :
The student must be able:
- to explain and to analyse general economic behaviour;
- to understand and to explain, in a critical perspective, the relations between the main economic variables.
These learning outcomes contribute to develop the 2 and 6 ILOs.

None.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
Ex cathedra presentations.
During sessions of 1h30, exercises are given in small groups of students in order to present the chapters of the course in a practical way.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :
Face-to-face.
Second semester, 35 hours (+ 15 hours of exercises).
