Course contents :

| This course is designed to help students perform bibliographical and documentary searches relevant to their chosen field of study. The course consists of a theoretical part (Part 1), which is dedicated to bibliographical research, and a practical part (Part 2), which focuses on documentary research. | ||||||||

| In Part 1 of the course, students will learn the proper formatting of different kinds of bibliographical references. | ||||||||

||||||||
| Part 2 of the course introduces students to information science as a gateway to subject-specific knowledge. Students will familiarize themselves with different kinds of research materials and sources, including library catalogues, discovery tools, bibliographies and databases. The basic principles of formulating and performing a search will be explained. | ||||||||

| Library visit, lectures, analysis of different types of sources, class exercises, computer exercises, discussion. Exercises are an integral part of the course and should be prepared in advance. | ||||||||

| There are two course hours for each language. Students are required to take two sets of two hours, one set for each language studied. | ||||||||
