| Imagined as a dialogue between two artistic practices, but also two cultural fields strongly determined by their industrial development, this course considers the links between literature and cinema under the questions of genres and intermediality.
The course will approach historically, aesthetically and sociologically the evolution of the genres. Romans-feuilletons and serials, detective novels and films noirs, fantastic literature and horror pictures, graphic novels and blockbusters from comics, spy novels and political thrillers, erotic literature and pornographic films are some examples of subjects which could be discussed. |

Organizational remarks :

Forcés pour l'exploiter de connaître leur temps ;
