| This series of lectures is based on the use of biophysical methods (mainly optical spectroscopies, presented into details for course BIOC0721-1: Propriétés optiques des macromolécules biologiques) to study protein folding. Concrete examples (e.g. bêta-lactamases, single-domain antibody fragments, lysozymes) are analyzed in details, on the basis of theoretical background and data found in the literature. | |||||||||||
Learning outcomes of the course :
| Students will learn how biophysical methods can be used to study protein folding. | |||||||||||
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
| Lectures are given with the help of powerpoint presentations, blackboard and white chalk | |||||||||||
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :
| Face-to-face only | |||||||||||
Recommended or required readings :
| Scientific articles will be given as they are analyzed and lecture notes will be available following the lectures | |||||||||||
