Course contents :
Recall of essential immunology concepts to the understanding of the course.
Several topics are presented and adapted following the different vocational guidances: - Production of immunoreagents: impacts in bioindustry and agronomy; - Principles and methods of vaccinology; vaccines in agriculture; - Nutrition, environmental factors and immune response; - Immunomodulation in animal production, animal reproduction; - Immunity, animal welfare and health; - Abzymes: production and developments; - Atopic and allergic diseases related to the environment and food.
Learning outcomes of the course :
Overview of interactions between immunology, immunochemistry and biological sciences. Applied approaches especially in agricultural sciences and biological engineering.
After completing the course the student is expected to
- integrate immunological and/or immunochemical components in complex biological problems coming under agronomical sciences and biological engineering
