Presentation

The complementary Masters aims to provide the theoretical, clinical and therapeutic basics allowing specialisation in psychiatry to be practiced, including pedo-psychiatry and psycho-geriatrics. The teaching is divided up into three parts :
|
- a systemised clinical description of the different psychiatric disorders and their symptomology, their definiation and classification, the different etiopathogenic mechanisms envisaged from a biological point of view, as well as psychological and social, and the different therapeutic approaches, especially pharmacological and psychotherapy;
- systemised training in the different therapeutic approaches envisaged both on a theoretical level and based on clinical examples, especially psychopharmacological, psychodynamic, psychanalytical, cognitive-behavioural and systemic;
- training in various specific aspects such as projective tests, forensic psychiatry and psychiatric examination, clinical psychophysiology and the psychological and psychiatric aspects of palliative care.

Cet enseignement intègre les diverses approches cliniques et thérapeutiques afin de fournir à l'étudiant les compétences nécessaires à établir le diagnostic, à évaluer les différents facteurs pathogéniques et à connaître les bases des différentes approches thérapeutiques. Outre les aspects théoriques, l'enseignement se base sur des discussions de cas de patients rapportés par les participants. La formation est combinée avec des stages en psychiatrie et permet d'acquérir les compétences nécessaires à pratiquer la psychiatrie y compris la pédopsychiatrie et la psychogériatrie.
