Presentation

The Advanced Master in General Medicine prepares the student to practice general medicine.
This training includes theoretical and practical courses and clinical seminars and writing a final work.
Candidates also have training in consulting room of general medicine, in the primary care and hospital services approved for specific training in general medicine, under the guidance of tutors recognized by the Faculty of Medicine, and also as required by the law to access to the qualification of general practitioners registered with the Ministry of Public Health.

Duration
|
- Two years of study for students who have a specific certificate in General Medicine (theory education of 200h in General Medicine and 12 moths of specific training programmes
- Three years of study for students who have taken 200h of theory education but have not taken all the required training programmes (Not in possession of a specific certificate in General Medicine.

The student who is not in the situations aforementioned has to :
- either get the specific certificate of general medicine (200 hours of theory courses of general medicine and 12 months of specific placement). Then, he will be allowed to follow the 1st year of the advanced master in general medicine (2 years);
- or follow the 200 hours of theory courses in general medicine (not a specific certificate in general medicine). Then, he will be allowed to follow the 1st year of the advanced master in general medicine in 3 years.
