Course contents :  
The course of « Evolution » represents 3 ECTS. It will be given in auditorium. There is no practical work in the laboratory. However, the teacher can adapt the content of the course as well as the activities according to any scientific or academic opportunities or constraints. 
The course is made of seven sections :
Partie I: Darwin theory of Evolution
Partie II: Darwin theory of Evolution (suite)
Partie III: Synthetic theory of evolution
Partie IV: Adaptative evolution and natural selection 
Partie V: From micro- to macroevolution
Partie VI: Macroevolution modalities
Partie VII: Human evolution
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Contribute to basic training by providing the student basic skills and techniques for the History of Science.
At the end of the course, students should be able to apply Tinbergen questions to specific behaviors and demonstrate sufficient knowledge regarding the evolution, ontogeny, function and mechanism of behavior.

There is no syllabus provided. All powerpoint slides will be provided to the students using ecampus.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
A written exam will be conducted in June and will provide an evaluation of the student's knowledge on a basis of 20 points.
