Course contents :

| This course gives up to date data on parasitic emerging diseases in Europe. The content is updated each year according to the new developments in this field. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| To provide updated data on some parasitic diseases (mainly vectorial) in Europe in the field of animal health. |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| General pathology, general microbiology, epidemiology applied to veterinary medicine, arachno-entomology, pharmacology, vaccinology. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| There are no practicals as such but rather workshops based on multimedia material (CD-Roms). |

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

| The time table is established on an annual basis by the coordinator. |

| A hard copy is distributed to every participant before each lecture. |
