Course contents :  
The surgical pathology of production animals was treated in this course. We treated a frequently surgical pathology in Belgium. It contens lameness, digestive urinary and respiratory tract.

The course on pig surgery describes the most frequent surgical procedures carried out on the pig farm (castration, tail clipping, teeth clipping, de-tusking boar, caesarean, treatment of prolapse of the rectum or uterus,...).
Learning outcomes of the course :  
A frequently surgical pathologies knowlegde and some surgical treatment.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Theoritical and practical knowledge in propedeutic, biology, surgical technic and anesthesia are considered as prerequisite.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Without.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
A power point courses was given and illustrated by movies.
Recommended or required readings :  
For this year the course is not accompagned with notes. The power point will be available on myULg and eCampus.
Concerning pig, notes will be available on myULg.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Written examination with open questions.
