Course contents :  
This subject covers two main axes:
- Control of the normal reproductive cycle (foloow up of oestrus, AI, assisted reproduction,...) and of the pregnancy, neonatalogy, obstetrics and gynecology;
-Pathologies of the male and female reproductive system, control of reproduction parameters and infertility
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To know the bases of the anatomy and the physiology of the reproduction an be able to adapt them to physiological and pathological situations of the reproductive system in companion animals and equids.
More specifically : be able to handle a general reproductive consultation in reproduction, from history information collection to treatment and prognosis. Identify physiological, pathological economical and breeding implications in a reproductive status and propose and install an integrated solution to a given situation.

General semiology, Pathology Special Propedeutique Anatomy, general and reproductive physiology of small animals and equids

Assessment methods and criteria :  
On top of the questions about the theretical lessons the written examination in June will include questions relative to Small Animal Clinic partim Reproduction (VETE450-1).
Examination in september will be similar to that of june. However, if number of students allows, students would be informed that an oral exam might be replacing the originally planned written exam.
