Course contents :  
Clinical training based on the radiographic, ultrasonographic and CT scan examinations realized during the day on the patients referred to the imaging service.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
  • Learn how to obtain good quality radiographs respecting radioprotection principles ;
  • Learn the principle of image formation and the principles of radiographic analysis and interpretation;
  • Learn how to establish a differential diagnosis based on the radiographic signs;
  • Learn how to write a radiographic report;
  • Learn how to critically choose the right imaging technique for each clinical case;
  • Aquire some basic knowledge in ultrasonography.
  • Aquire some basic knowledge in CT scan.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Basic knowledge in anatomy, veterinary radiology and radioprotection.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Practical training in film reading and/or practical training on animals will be organized.
