Course contents :  
This course aims to teach the learners the tools for the implementation of the etiological diagnosis by using animal samples.
The practical part is linked with the research topic.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
At the end of the course, the student is supposed to know the techniques avalaible to develop an etiological diagnosis and the essential prerequisites  for the implementation of these techniques.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
The theorical course in the second cycle regarding the animal diseases and their expression both ante and postmortem as well as their etiology and pathogenesis.

Assessment methods and criteria :  
The evaluation of the student will be determinated according to the practical part.
The results of this practical work will be the target of a written work and a short oral presentation to discuss these results.
