Course contents :  
The course includes the description of the approval norms of the different emergency functions and their respective positionnings in the Emergency Medical Aid.
From the legal issues, architectural requirements are discussed in terms of functionnal units: reception structures, intensive care, examination rooms and transient hospitalisation.
Thereafter, the fundamental and specific roles of the emergency hospital service are investigated:
-the Gatekeeper
-the Safety network
Finally, the general principles governing the participation of the emergency medical service to the disaster planing are desribed (MASH planing).
