Course contents :  
The course is held every even year (2014-2015, 2016-2017...).
The lessons are given in English and will describe political life, actors and institutions in the United States with a specific focus on democracy.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
At the end of the course, students will have a good knowledge of the main institutions (Federal and federate States), the main actors and the main ideological divisions in the United States. A specific focus will concern the issue of Human Rights, foreign policy and international relations.

The course is made of lessons, lectures from speakers et works in groups.

Students will be evaluated through a written or oral examination and through the optional presentation of works on specific topics to fix with the teacher.
