Course contents :  
The course will cover recent theories of the comparative approaches in public policy analysis : - reflexivity in comparative analysis - comparative analysis at international level; at european level; - methodologies : constructing comparability of analysis.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Develop a critical and methodological comeptence through comparative analysis
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Students have to analyse within a given sector of public policy a series of rapports of comparative analysis : they have to produce a 5 pages written document with a critical presentation of the methodologies mobilised.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
lectures are organised during the 2d semestre, on the basis of a series of articles and texsts (in French and English) Details concerning the lectures and the personal work will be provided during the introductory course.
Recommended or required readings :  
A series of articles the slides used during the lectures will be made available via My ULg
Assessment methods and criteria :  
oral examination : a discussion on the basis of the written report of the personal work; a question on the elements covered during the lectures (restitution) on basis of the reading file. 50% of the final evalution will be based on the personal work
