| Introduction to the understanding of our universe beyond the Milky Way
- distance scale
- formation and properties of galaxies
- active galactic nuclei
- clusters and groups of galaxies
- cosmology basics useful to understand the up-to-date vision of the formation and evolution of the universe (dark matter, gravitational lensing, cosmic microwave backrgound...) |
