Course contents :  
This course aim at offering the students a support in their research work.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
This course is organized in different seminaries.
The classes concerning the thesis will familiarize students with the formal guideline for writing up a thesis in the Master of Sciences of population and development. These seminaries will help students to formulate their research's topic and questions, their working hypothesis, to make methodological choices, to find a field for research work. Several times, students should set out the state of progress of their research and could exchange with researchers in their field. Other classes aim to give students the opportunity to work on scientific articles (for example about research methodology in the field of development) and to exchange with development researchers during a seminary.
