Course contents :
 |
| The aim of the course is to provide the students with an integrated view on the diversity and the role of ion channels and to link the electrophysiological and pharmacological properties to the structure of the proteins that constitute the ion channels.
The course will be subdivided in 5 parts
- History and nomenclature of ion channels - Electrophysiological methods - Structure of voltage-dependent ion channels and receptor channels - Electrophysiological characteristics of ion channels under normal and pathological conditions - Drugs and ion channels |
