Course contents :  
After a general and epidemiologic introduction, each system is more deeply studied: recall of normal physiology and then evolution during ageing.
So are successively studied the cardio-vascular, respiratory, renal, digestive, immune, endocrine, and neurologic systems. The targets of the lectures being students in psychology, the study of the nervous system is much deeper.
The general care for the elderly is also discussed, as well the recent progress regarding ageing research.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To understand the physiopathological mechanisms underlying ageing and their consequences on the humain body.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
The syllabus "Anatomy and Physiology", which was studied in the first year of bachelor in psychological sciences.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
They can be organised at the request of the students.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Two lectures of two hours each a week
