.
In this course we will deal with the following chapters :a) general mechanics (kinematics, dynamics, energy, elastic properties of matter), b) optics , c) thermodynamics |
Learning outcomes of the course :
| This course deals with a part of Physics. As for the other parts, it aims at giving to the students some knowledge of the fundamental laws which given physical phenomena as well as physical procedures used in the industry. This course constitutes a prerequisite for the advanced applied sciences courses. |

| - Practical seances are organised with the support of teacher-assistant. |
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

A powerpoint application will cover all the course and a syllabus with the copy of the transparencies will be available. The powerpoint application will be completed with numerous animations replacing lab experiments. As far as possible a real life experiment will be presented in class. Many exercises and concept applications will be detailed during the course. |
