Organisation and examination :
| Teaching in the second semester |
Course contents :
| Table of content :
- zero gravity and microgravity - physical phenomena in microgravity - means for obtaining microgravity - hypergravity - designing an experiment |
Learning outcomes of the course :
| The lecture aims to allow student better understanding the scientific motivations about micogravity. The second objective is either to design an original experiment (which could flight in the ESA Zero-G) or to visit installations simulating micro-gravity. |
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :
| The lecture about complex fluids.Preparing a Master Thesis on a topic related to the professors. |
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
| - microgravity in fluids, Plateau's experiment
- free fall tower - visit of ESA equipment in Bordeaux (airbus) or Bremen (drop tower) |
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :
| The lecture is organized at the first semester. |
