The connection between the physical and biomedical sciences developed rapidly over the past few decades. New areas of endeavor such as biophysics and biomedical engineering are emerging rapidly and contributing important informations to the understanding of lifeprocesses.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Oral courses taught by the teacher. Exercises done in class. A lab tour organized. The last two lectures are devoted to the presentation of personal work done by students.
